On a bitterly cold afternoon, the Westonbirt 2nd lacrosse team put on a determined performance to secure a hard-fought 3-3 draw against CLC. Despite the chill in the air, the game was heated from the outset, with both teams demonstrating excellent skill and teamwork.

The star of the match was undoubtedly Purdey in goal, whose incredible saves repeatedly kept Westonbirt in contention. Her reflexes, composure, and ability to read the game under pressure made all the difference, denying CLC on several occasions when they seemed certain to score.

Amelia B shone on the attacking front, delivering a brilliant performance and scoring crucial goals for Westonbirt. Her sharp movement and clinical finishing kept the opposition defence on their toes throughout the match, ensuring Westonbirt always had a fighting chance.
