The Westonbirt U14 lacrosse team edged a thrilling contest against CLC, emerging victorious with a nail-biting 4-3 win. From start to finish, the match was incredibly close, with both teams battling hard in a showcase of skill, determination, and teamwork.
The midfielders were exceptional throughout, covering immense ground and working tirelessly to transition the ball between attack and defence. Arabella P was instrumental in this effort and was rightly named Player of the Match for her relentless energy, smart decision-making, and superb link-up play.
Defensively, Westonbirt stayed tight on their marking, frustrating CLC’s attackers and limiting their opportunities. Embla was outstanding in goal, pulling off crucial saves that proved decisive in such a close game. Her composure and quick reflexes under pressure were vital to Westonbirt’s success.
