The Westonbirt U13 lacrosse team triumphed in a nail-biting encounter against CLC, securing a hard-fought 9-7 victory. It was a fiercely contested match, with both sides displaying exceptional skill and determination throughout.

Hermione was a standout performer in goal, earning well-deserved Player of the Match recognition for her outstanding saves under immense pressure. Her calm presence in the backline proved crucial in keeping Westonbirt ahead during some tense moments.

In midfield, Freya and Darcey delivered a sensational performance, combining energy, vision, and control to drive the team forward. Their ability to transition play from defence to attack was pivotal in securing this win.

CLC deserve full credit for their spirited play, especially in the latter stages of the match, where they mounted an impressive comeback to close the gap. Westonbirt’s defence held firm in the final minutes, showing incredible composure to see out the victory.
