Westonbirt’s 1st lacrosse team delivered a commanding performance in their 9-5 victory over Queen Anne’s, showcasing resilience, teamwork, and skill across the field.

However, Westonbirt came out firing in the second quarter, seizing control of the game with an impressive display of attacking precision. A flurry of goals saw Westonbirt surge to a 6-1 lead by halftime, with slick transitions through midfield and clinical finishing proving too much for Queen Anne’s defense.

Queen Anne’s fought back in the 3rd and the 4th, narrowing the gap with a determined effort. Despite their rally, Westonbirt’s defense held firm, and the team maintained their composure to secure a 9-5 victory.

Midfield duo Ruby B and Taya D were named Players of the Match for their exceptional contributions. Ruby displayed dynamic play and a relentless work rate, while Taya’s leadership and skillful ball control drove Westonbirt’s dominance in key moments.
