The Westonbirt 2nd lacrosse team put in a solid performance to secure a hard-fought 3-3 draw against Queen Anne’s in a match defined by strong defence and resilience.
Queen Anne’s applied high-pressure tactics throughout the game, challenging Westonbirt’s offense to adapt and find space. However, Westonbirt’s defense stood firm on the counter attacks, and Purdey W in goal delivered an exceptional performance, making crucial saves to keep her team in contention.
The game remained finely balanced throughout until the final whistle, with neither team able to break the deadlock. Players of the Match were Purdey W for her outstanding goalkeeping and Michelle K for her speed and ground balls in midfield.
