The Westonbirt U13 lacrosse team faced a tough challenge in their match against Queen Anne’s, ultimately losing 14-4 to a dominant opposition.

With their regular goalkeeper unavailable, Ava L and Jas H stepped up courageously, each taking a half in goal. Both players showed immense bravery and effort in an unfamiliar position, but Queen Anne’s strong offense proved difficult to contain.

Westonbirt worked hard throughout the game, but their stick skills were tested under Queen Anne’s relentless pressure. Despite the result, there were moments of promise, with some determined attacking play and a handful of well-earned goals showcasing the team’s potential.

The match highlighted key areas for improvement, particularly in stick skills and defensive organisation, but the team’s resilience and willingness to step up in challenging circumstances were commendable. Special thanks to Ava and Jas for their efforts in goal.
