The Westonbirt U14 team delivered a well-deserved 7-4 victory over St Mary’s Calne after a long-anticipated game start. The girls came out of the gate full of energy, scoring two quick goals to assert control early on. They finished the first half with a commanding 4-1 lead, showing they were ready to compete from the outset.

In the second half, Westonbirt demonstrated excellent game knowledge, adjusting their midfield strategy to effectively disrupt St Mary’s Calne’s clears. Their re-defend was impressive, making it tough for the opposition to gain ground, though St Mary’s managed to sneak in a couple of goals. Westonbirt held firm under pressure, however, closing out the game with a solid 7-4 win.

Lucy W was a standout player, showing remarkable hustle and determination.
