A slow start to the match gave Wycliffe a 15-12 lead at half time. Handling errors and basic mistakes contributed to Westonbirt conceding the first two scores of the match, before Harry G hit back with a good try. Michael K then scored on the half-time whistle, with Az converting off the post.

The second half saw a much improved team performance with some excellent carries and good rucking. The try of the match came from Jonny W but was a team effort with a number of phases of play which started in their own half. Michael K scored his second, before Stanley touched down, from a Wilf E off-load. The final try again came from Jonny W with a clean break from his own half.

These four unanswered tries guaranteed the win, but Wycliffe finished as they started by scoring the last two tries.

A great game throughout, with fine character shown by all players.
