The U18 team played their first home match of the season under clear skies and sunshine. Westonbirt faced a tough challenge against Hereford, who brought a high intensity to the game. Any mistakes made by Westonbirt were swiftly capitalised on by the opposition. Despite this, Westonbirt players showed great passion and were able to assert dominance in certain aspects of the game, such as the scrum. However, they struggled to fully execute their game plan and attacking shape, ultimately falling short against the strong opposition. A standout moment was a beautiful try scored by Josh Stokes early in the second half, but more moments like that were needed to secure a victory. Congratulations to all the players for their hard work. The final score was 57-7 in favour of Hereford.
