A dominant performance from the Westonbirt U14 side produced a comfortable win against a tenacious Hereford team.

The forwards secured some good ball from the scrum to allow the backs to run well and gain ground. The first score came from Michael, who proved elusive throughout the match. More direct running from Harry G and Jonny continued to drive Hereford back and contributed to Westonbirt leading 20-0 at half-time.

In the second half, Xavier helped the team find open spaces out wide and with Stanley and Benji running well, Westonbirt continued to dominate. The forwards continued to defend well and produce some good ball, especially when putting enough numbers into the rucks.

Overall this match was refereed to a high standard, with both sides able to play positively. Well played everyone.

Westonbirt now look forward to their Cup Match against Marling on Tuesday.
