The Year 7’s 2 Hockey squads travelled to Rendcomb College for their first fixture of the season.
In a hugely competitive match played over 4 quarters allowing Westonbirt changes their entire outfield team each time, allowing all player to play the equivalent of half the game. Westonbirt scored first through Rafe R, after a series of quick passes.
During the 3rd quarter Rendcomb College equalised, leaving it all to play for in the final quarter.
Westonbirt had the best chances in this period, finally scoring through Captain George C.
The game ended 2-1 to Westonbirt.
