The boys faced a very strong and well organised Cheltenham side on Thursday afternoon and, despite multiple set backs through injury and players' removed due to concussion, put on a brilliant display of rugby. Before leaving the pitch with a head injury Caleb G dominated the contact area, consistently breaking multiple tackles and getting over the gain line with each carry. Joel B led the team exceptionally in difficult circumstances and showed his ability to stay calm under pressure, running the attack and defence very effectively and adapting well in an ever changing game. Credit must also go to Harris H for an excellent finish to a well worked team try. Unfortunatly for Westonbirt, Cheltenham were relentless in their attacking play and deserved winners on the day, but that doesn't take away from the outstanding effort put in from all the U15s.
