A brilliant end to the term saw the U14s record a good victory over Holmleigh Park School in the EDF Cup.

A strong carry from the kick off from Tom B led to a first ever try from Will D. The team then built some good momentum which led to further scores. Josh P has fantastic game in attack and defence, while Wilf E was a strong presence on the ball.

Az started to control things well and there was a well worked try scored by Maxi that helped build a 33-0 lead at half time.

The second half saw Holmleigh Park come back strongly with some excellent runs and despite some strong tackles they scored two tries.

Westonbirt were quick to respond though and it was great to see the team fight to regain dominance. Wilf E capped a strong performance with his second try, while Tom B and Michael both got well-deserved scores.

The match finished with a kickoff return run from Benji which rounded off a strong performance from him in the forwards.

Overall an excellent all round display, but as always things to improve and work on.

Well done to the whole squad on an excellent term.
